The actual laser surgery (URSL) takes about 45 minutes to an hour, but preparing you and bringing you out of anesthesia takes another two hours. Honestly, you'll spend more time signing papers and waiting for the discharge than the actual operation. Just lie back and let them do the cleaning!

Back in my day, surgeries were major, but modern laser kidney stone surgery takes less than an hour and is very painless. I had it done five years ago at age 62 and recovered beautifully. Put your trust in your doctors and don't worry, technology has advanced immensely.

It generally takes about 45 to 90 minutes. It is a very standard and highly successful procedure.

Actually it takes barely 1 hour, my roommate had it done during our semester breaks and she was back in the hostel in two days. It's not a major open surgery or anything scary. You'll literally sleep through the whole thing.

In a corporate hospital, they usually do RIRS or lithotripsy which takes about 30 to 60 minutes under general anesthesia. It is always best to ask your urologist clearly about which technique they are using and the exact time it will take. Every case is unique depending on the stone's position.

Hey buddy, don't stress too much! It's usually a quick 45-minute job and they don't even make any cuts if they do it through laser. You'll be back on your feet and heading home within a day or two. Just get it done and get rid of that annoying pain!

My 12-year-old son had to undergo laser surgery for a kidney stone last year, and the doctor finished it in about 40 minutes. It is a very safe and routine procedure, so please don't worry too much. Just make sure the child is well-hydrated post-op as advised by the nursing staff.

It takes only 45 minutes to clear out the stones, which is less time than it takes to order and wait for a pizza! The hardest part is fasting before the surgery when you are craving some good food. Post-surgery, just drink lots of water and simple coconut water as advised.

The duration depends on whether it's PCNL, RIRS, or lithotripsy, taking anywhere from 45 minutes to 2 hours. Don't trust people on social media who claim they can dissolve large stones with home remedies to avoid surgery. Verify the best surgical options directly with an certified urologist.

The procedure is fast, usually done within an hour. Once the doctor gives the green light, starting light walks the very next day helps your body recover from anesthesia faster. Don't lift heavy weights for a few weeks, but keeping your blood circulating with slow walks is great.

I was reading up on this because my dad might need it, and most medical sources say it takes 30 to 60 minutes depending on stone size. It seems quite quick nowadays with laser technology. Good luck with the procedure if you or a family member is having it!

I have had kidney stone laser surgery twice. The procedure itself takes exactly 50 minutes, but they will keep a double-J stent inside for a week or two to let the kidney heal. That stent might cause some mild burning when you pee, but don't panic, it's completely normal and goes away once the stent is removed.
