How long does it take to notice weight loss?

I've started going to the gym and eating healthier about two weeks ago. I'm quite motivated, but I'm wondering, how long does it typically take to actually start noticing weight loss when you're making efforts?

You will usually start seeing changes in the mirror or how your clothes fit in about 4 to 6 weeks. It is all about maintaining a slight calorie deficit and staying active. Just be consistent with your routine and the results will follow.

Normally it takes 4 to 6 weeks, but if you notice sudden, rapid weight loss without trying, please consult a doctor. I ignored unexpected weight loss once and it turned out to be a severe hormonal issue that caused major health complications later. Stay safe and monitor your health.

Give it about a month, skin and energy levels change first before the scale drops. Don't weigh yourself every day because normal body weight fluctuations will just stress you out. You are doing great, just focus on feeling healthy first.

In my journey, physical changes became visible after about 6 weeks of dedicated yoga practice and mindful eating. Yoga helps in reducing cortisol levels, which makes losing stubborn weight easier. Have patience with your body and let it heal at its own natural pace.

It takes about 4 to 8 weeks for others to notice. I tried drinking warm water with cumin seeds and cutting down evening tea biscuits, which really helped my digestion and bloating first. Be patient, small home changes take time but they build a healthy foundation.

A healthy rate of weight loss is visible within 1 to 2 months of eating simple home-cooked meals and avoiding sweets. However, if your weight loss is accompanied by extreme fatigue, fever, or persistent pain, please see a doctor immediately to rule out any underlying medical conditions.
