How long does it take for pregnancy symptoms to occur?

My husband and I are trying to conceive, and I'm really keen to know if I'm pregnant. I've heard about some early symptoms. How soon after conception do pregnancy symptoms typically start to occur? I'm just looking for signs.

Typically, early symptoms like breast tenderness or mild fatigue start around the 4th to 6th week, which is basically a couple of weeks after a missed period. Some people don't feel anything until the 8th week. Don't obsess over daily signs, just take a home test after your missed period.

I agree with the 5 to 6 weeks timeline. Keeping a track of your morning body temperature can also give a small clue early on.

Beta, usually after 1 or 1.5 months you will start feeling heavy in the body and a bit dizzy. My mother used to say the real morning sickness starts only after the second month begins. Drink warm milk and rest well.

With PCOS, cycles are so irregular that it is hard to tell when symptoms should start. For me, mild cramping started around the 5th week, which I initially thought was my period coming. It is best to wait and do a doctor-guided test rather than guessing based on symptoms.

I remember checking my body every single hour, it was so emotionally draining. For me, the nausea and exhaustion didn't really start until the 6th week. Please try to be kind to yourself and don't stress if you don't feel anything early on.

For me, the symptom was absolute, endless sleepiness starting right at week 5. I could have slept through an earthquake! The nausea joined the party around week 7, so enjoy your peaceful sleep while it lasts.

From my experience with my three children, symptoms usually show up around 5 to 6 weeks. Some women feel nauseous early, while others feel absolutely nothing for months and still have healthy babies. Do not worry unnecessarily, God bless.

You might start noticing mild symptoms like a higher heart rate and tiredness around week 5. I kept up my light morning walks which really helped with the early fatigue, but check with your doctor before starting any routine. Every body reacts differently.
