How long does hair loss last?

I've been experiencing general hair thinning for the past few months, not sure why. It's not a sudden thing but a gradual process. I'm wondering how long hair loss usually lasts, or if it's something I need to be really concerned about long-term.

Beta, natural hair shedding usually lasts for 1 to 2 months during the seasonal changes. You can wash your hair with shikakai water to keep the scalp cool and clean. But if the hair fall continues for a long time, it is always wise to consult a doctor.

I ignored my heavy hair loss for almost a year thinking it was just stress, but it turned out to be a severe thyroid issue that got much worse. If your hair fall lasts for more than 3 months, don't wait like I did. Go get a proper blood checkup done immediately.

I agree that temporary hair loss usually resolves within 3 months. Make sure you are getting enough protein in your daily meals to support the regrowth.

Temporary hair fall usually lasts for 2 to 3 months before stabilizing. I found that ensuring a proper intake of iron-rich spinach, lentils, and nuts in my daily vegetarian diet really helped support my hair health. Always consult your doctor for personalized nutritional advice.

Normal hair fall should stop in about 2 months, ho na. If it goes on beyond that, it is really stressful and painful to watch. Just eat some nutritious food and consult a good doctor to find the exact reason.

Usually, reactive hair shedding from a illness or stress lasts for about 3 months and then slowly improves. Try to avoid experimenting with too many different hair products during this time. If the shedding doesn't reduce after a few months, a doctor's visit is highly recommended.

The duration of hair loss depends entirely on the underlying cause, but temporary telogen effluvium typically lasts for 3 to 6 months. For an accurate diagnosis and targeted treatment plan, consulting a qualified dermatologist is always the best approach.
