How long does food allergy vomiting last?

My younger sister ate something she's allergic to and has been vomiting. We gave her some medicine, but she's still feeling sick. How long does food allergy vomiting typically last?

Haan, standard allergy vomiting usually stops within 4 to 6 hours once the stomach gets cleared, samjhe na? But if it goes on for more than a day, then please don't take it lightly. Doctor ko dikhana zaroori ho jata hai if you can't even keep water down.

Usually, the vomiting stops after 3 or 4 times once the bad food is out. Just sit quietly under the fan and take small sips of sugar-salt water so your body does not dry up. If you still feel very sick by evening, please go to the local clinic.

It usually begins to settle down in a couple of hours once the allergen is out of the stomach. Try to rest in a quiet room and avoid drinking large amounts of water at once. I hope you feel much better very soon.

Look, if it is a real allergy, the vomiting should dry up in 3 to 5 hours maximum once your stomach is empty. Do not keep popping random pills to stop it immediately, let the body flush it out naturally first. But yes, if you start getting rashes or face swelling with it, rush to the hospital immediately.

Beta, the main vomiting should not last more than a few hours if it is just a mild food reaction. You can suck on a small piece of ginger or take a spoonful of lukewarm fennel water to soothe the food pipe. But if the vomiting is severe or you feel dizzy, consult a doctor immediately without waiting.

I was actually reading up on this because my cousin had a reaction to peanuts last week. Most medical sites say the active vomiting should stop within 2 to 4 hours of the exposure. If it continues longer, it could be a sign of a more severe systemic reaction.
