How long can spotting last during pregnancy?

I'm in my first trimester and have noticed some light spotting, which has me a little worried. My doctor said it can be normal, but I'm still anxious. How long can spotting last during pregnancy, typically?

I can only speak from my own experience, but I had light spotting for about 3 days during my first trimester. My doctor checked and said it was implantation bleeding, which is quite common. Still, everyone’s body is different so I didn't take any chances and informed my clinic.

Actually yaar, spotting is super scary but it happens to many women. For me it lasted for a day and then stopped completely. But if it's going on for more than 2-3 days or you see bright red blood, please call your gynac immediately to be safe.

I went through this exact scare last year and was so worried. Usually, light pink or brown spotting can last for a day or two and then clear up on its own. Just rest up, avoid lifting heavy things, and keep your doctor updated on the colour and flow.

Please don't listen to random suggestions on the internet or try home remedies to stop pregnancy spotting. Any bleeding during pregnancy can be a serious signal. Go straight to your gynecologist and get an ultrasound done to see what's actually happening.

I had spotting during my pregnancy, and because of my thyroid issues, my doctor was very strict about regular blood tests. Hormone fluctuations can sometimes cause this, so make sure your thyroid and progesterone levels are checked. Regular doctor follow-ups are absolute must right now.
