How long can someone live with lung cancer without treatment?

My neighbor has been diagnosed with lung cancer, and for some personal reasons, they are considering not going for treatment. It's a very difficult situation. I was wondering, how long can someone live with lung cancer if they don't receive any treatment?

While a clean diet and light physical movement can keep your overall immunity and energy levels up, they cannot stop the spread of lung cancer. Skipping medical treatment usually means the disease progresses much faster, often within a few months. Please look into combining healthy habits with actual oncology treatment for the best shot.

Without treatment, lung cancer can become very painful and progress rapidly. Please consult an oncologist to at least discuss supportive or palliative care options to keep them comfortable.

Based on clinical studies, the median survival for untreated advanced lung cancer is typically around 2 to 4 months, whereas early-stage might last a bit longer. When we discussed this with our oncologist, they explained that without intervention, complications like pleural effusion or severe breathing blocks happen much sooner. Palliative therapy is highly recommended even if active chemotherapy is avoided.

Arre bina treatment ke toh bahut jaldi problem badh jayegi, haan. Lung cancer bohot aggressive hota hai aur bina dawai ke saans lene me bohot takleef hone lagti hai. Kam se kam doctor se milkar pain relief aur oxygen ka toh setup kar lo, na?

I am so scared just reading about this because a relative of mine is refusing chemotherapy out of fear of side effects. Has anyone else managed to convince an elderly family member to at least try mild treatments or targeted tablets? I'm really losing sleep over this decision.

Our bodies are not made of stone, and leaving a serious thing like lung cancer completely untreated is like driving a car with no brakes down a hill. You will end up facing severe chest pain and breathlessness very quickly. Do yourself a favor, skip the self-healing theories and talk to a doctor who can actually help.
