How long after laser hair removal does hair fall out?

I just had my first session of laser hair removal on my arms. The aesthetician said the hair would fall out, but it's been a few days and nothing yet. How long after a laser hair removal session does the treated hair typically start to shed?

Hey! It usually takes about 1 to 3 weeks for the treated hair to start shedding. You will see them slide out naturally when you take a shower, so don't worry, it's totally normal and quite satisfying to watch! 😊

The hair generally falls out over a period of 10 to 20 days. You can use a soft washcloth to gently scrub the area in the shower to help it along. But if you see any severe burns, blisters, or extreme redness, please visit a doctor immediately.

Please don't try any harsh home scrubs to force the hair out earlier, as it can damage your sensitive skin. The shedding takes about 2 to 3 weeks. If you have any concerns about the laser settings or skin reaction, verify with your dermatologist.

When I got my treatment done at a reputed skin clinic, they clearly told me that shedding starts around day 10 and can last up to 3 weeks. They advised me not to pull them out. Ask your dermatologist clearly if you need any post-care creams.

Expect shedding between 7 to 21 days after your session. It might look like new growth, but it's actually the dead hair pushing out of the follicle. Just let it happen naturally and do not pluck or wax them at all.

My sisters suggested some herbal pastes, but my doctor strictly told me to let the hair fall out naturally, which takes about 10 to 14 days. Just apply a good soothing aloe vera gel if there is any minor itching, and let the skin heal on its own.
