How long after conception pregnancy test?

I'm trying to plan when to take a pregnancy test this cycle. It's confusing with all the different advice out there. What's the general recommendation for how long after conception one should wait before testing for pregnancy?

I totally get it, the suspense is so hard to handle. But please try to wait at least 12 to 14 days after conception so the test can give you a reliable result.

Wait for about 14 days before checking. While you wait, make sure you keep your diet strictly balanced and monitor your blood sugar levels carefully, as health is paramount.

It is best to wait two weeks after trying. I know the excitement and anxiety are high, but a rushed test only leads to confusion.

Give it 14 days, boss. Otherwise, you'll be squinting at that strip like a detective looking for clues that aren't there yet!

In our days we didn't have these instant kits, we just waited patiently for the missed cycle. I suggest you wait at least 14 days for a proper result, God bless you.

From what my wife and I experienced, testing before 14 days is a waste of time. Just wait for two weeks and use the morning's first urine for a clear answer.

I panicked and tested on day 9 and it was negative, which made me cry. But I tested again on day 14 and got a beautiful positive, so don't worry if it's too early!

Wait for 14 days to test. Since I have thyroid issues, my doctor always advised me to get a proper blood test done for confirmation rather than just relying on the home strip.
