How long after conception does a pregnancy test work?

I'm feeling a bit off lately, and my period is late. We had unprotected sex around ovulation, so I'm thinking about taking a test. How long after conception does a pregnancy test become effective at detecting pregnancy?

Is it okay if I test 10 days after conception? I am very nervous and don't know if the results will be accurate this early.

Wait for 14 days, my friend. I spent a fortune buying multiple kits and testing early, only to get zero sleep from overthinking. Let the hormones do their job first.

My wife and I tried testing on day 9 and got nothing. We waited till day 14 and got a clear positive, so yeah, definitely wait two weeks.

Ah, the patience game! Don't rush it, give it two weeks. If you test too early, you just get confused and end up buying five more tests anyway.

My grandmother told me to wait for a missed cycle before jumping to conclusions, which is very wise. Our family doctor also says 14 days is the scientific minimum for the home tests to actually work.

Just buy a standard 50-rupee kit from the local chemist and test 14 days after conception. No need to buy expensive fancy digital tests, the normal ones work perfectly if you give it enough time.

Have faith and let nature take its course. Give it about 12 to 14 days before you take the test, and keep yourself peaceful and healthy during this time.
