How long after conception can you take a pregnancy test?

My husband and I are actively trying for a baby. It's so hard to wait! I'm wondering what's the recommended waiting period after conception before I can take a home pregnancy test for a reliable result?

Look, simple baat hai. Don't rush into testing just 5-6 days after trying. Give it a solid 14 days, let the body build up the hormone, and then test with early morning urine for a clear result.

I totally get it, the waiting period can feel absolutely endless and nerve-wracking. But testing before 12-14 days might just give you a false negative and cause more heartache, so please hold on for a few more days.

With my thyroid issues, my cycles were always irregular so finding the right conception date was tough. I had to wait 15 days and do regular blood tests with my doctor to be absolutely sure of the result.

I once ignored minor body changes and delayed testing, which wasn't a good idea. Please take the test around 12 to 14 days after conception, and immediately consult a gynecologist if you see any positive signs.

My mother used to say we should wait for a month to be absolutely sure, but our family doctor advised that 14 days post-conception is scientifically enough for a home test. It is best to trust the medical timeline and test patiently.

Just wait for 14 days before checking. While you wait, treat yourself to some nice hot samosas or comforting food to keep those anxious nerves quiet!
