How long after conception can a pregnancy test be positive?

I'm trying to figure out the earliest I can take a pregnancy test to get an accurate reading. We've been trying for a baby for a few months now. How soon after conception can the test hormones be detected?

Hey there! Usually, it takes around 10 to 14 days to see that beautiful second line. Just try to stay happy and relaxed until you test! 😊

I am a bit confused because some websites say 10 days and some say 14. If I test on day 11 with a sensitive kit, will the result be correct?

Those test strips aren't magic wands, they need actual hormones to work! Give it 14 days, otherwise you'll just be staring at a blank white strip wishing for a miracle line to appear.

Let's be practical here. Don't waste money testing daily from day seven. Wait for two full weeks post-conception, or better yet, the day after your missed period, to get a solid, reliable answer.

While 12 to 14 days is the standard time for a urine test, home kits can sometimes give false negatives. If you miss your period and still get negative results, please visit a clinic for a proper beta-hCG blood test.

Bro, from what my friends have gone through, testing too early just causes major panic for no reason. Give it at least two weeks so the hormone levels actually show up on the strip.
