How late can heartbeat start in pregnancy?

My friend just found out she's pregnant, and she's very anxious for the first ultrasound to see the heartbeat. She's asking how late can the heartbeat typically start appearing in a pregnancy? When should she expect to hear it?

Aap bilkul chinta mat kijiye, parmatma par vishwas rakhiye. Kai baar 7 ya 8 hafte tak bhi heartbeat thodi late dikhti hai agar conception late hua ho. Apne dhyan ko shant rakhein aur doctor ki baatein follow karein.

In my case, we didn't see any heartbeat at 6 weeks and I was devastated. But when we went back at 7.5 weeks, there it was! My doctor told me dates can easily be off by a week or two, so don't lose hope yet.

I know how agonizing this waiting period is, I went through the exact same stress. Sometimes due to a late ovulation, the heartbeat is only visible around 7 to 8 weeks instead of 6. Please hold on and give it some time, your feelings are completely valid.

Listen, don't stress too much, okay? Sometimes the scan is just done too early, and it shows up clearly by the 7th or 8th week. Relax, watch some nice shows, and wait for your next scan as advised by your gynac.

Hamare zamane mein toh itne scan bhi nahi hote the beta. Aajkal log 6 hafte mein hi ghabra jaate hain. Kai baar lagbhag 8 hafte lag jaate hain dhadkan dikhne mein, thoda sabr rakho aur doctor ki raye lo.
