Don't believe people who say you can see a positive result in 5 days of intercourse, that's chemically impossible. It takes at least 11-14 days for hCG to show up in urine. To verify for sure, always consult a doctor and get a blood test instead of guessing.

On the test card, the positive line should show up within 3 to 5 minutes after putting the drops. If you read it after 10 minutes, an evaporation line can look like a false positive. For the best accuracy, use the first urine of the morning.
