How fast do water pills work for weight loss?

My friend was telling me about these water pills for weight loss, saying they work very fast. I've been struggling to lose weight for my wedding next year. So, I was wondering how quickly they actually show results?

They usually start working within an hour or two, making you run to the washroom. But please don't use them just for weight loss, as it is mostly just water leaving the body. Take care and don't push your body too hard.

Honestly, water pills only flush out temporary water weight, not real fat. The moment you eat normal salt or drink water, that weight comes straight back. It is much better to cut down on extra sodium and processed snacks instead of using these pills.

Please be very careful with these. I tried them once without asking and got terrible muscle cramps and low blood pressure because my potassium dropped. You should definitely consult a proper doctor before taking any such pills.

Water pills show quick results on the scale within a day, but it is just dehydration, not fitness. If your doctor allows, start with 30 minutes of brisk walking daily and eat clean. That is the only real way to lose actual fat permanently.

They work in a few hours, but what is the point, yaar? You lose two kgs of water, eat one plate of high-salt spicy biryani, and the weight is back by evening. Better to enjoy food in portion control rather than doing this water loss drama.

Arrey, they work within a couple of hours, meaning you will spend half your day in the toilet! But the next day, the scale is back to where it was. Sadly, there is no shortcut to melting this stubborn belly fat.

With thyroid, water retention is very common and I also used to get tempted by these quick fixes. But self-medicating with diuretics can mess up your kidneys. Better to get your thyroid levels tested and let your doctor handle the swelling.
