How does wisdom teeth pain feel?

My dentist said my wisdom teeth are coming in and might give me trouble. I'm a bit nervous, na. What kind of pain should I expect? Is it a sharp pain or more of a dull ache?

For mild wisdom tooth pain, doing warm salt water gargles 3-4 times a day or placing a small clove near the tooth helps immensely. But if you feel extreme throbbing, swelling on your cheek, or difficulty opening your mouth, please see a dentist immediately. Don't rely only on home remedies if the pain is severe.

Bro, it literally feels like someone is drilling a hole in the back of your jaw. I couldn't chew anything for three days and my head was constantly aching. Honestly, just go to a dentist and get an X-ray done because if it is growing sideways, you have to get it pulled out.

It is so annoying, yaar! It starts as a dull ache in the corner of your mouth and then actually spreads to your ear and head. I couldn't even sleep peacefully because of that constant throbbing sensation. Definitely get it checked by a doc before it swells up.

Imagine a tiny monster in the back of your mouth with a hammer, hitting your jawbone every five seconds. I haven't slept more than two hours tonight because of this stupid tooth. If anyone has a way to turn off jaw pain for just one night so I can sleep, please tell me.

My smart watch actually showed a spike in my resting heart rate and poor sleep cycles last week because of this pain. It feels like a deep pressure and soreness right at the back of your gums, which gets worse when you bite down. It is best to schedule a dental consult to check if it is impacted.

Oh, it's definitely not a pleasant feeling! It feels like a heavy, tight pressure right at the back of your cheek, and sometimes your gums get super red and swollen. But don't worry, once the dentist checks it and gives you some soothing gel, you will feel so much better!

According to my dentist, wisdom tooth pain happens because there isn't enough space in the jaw, causing the tooth to push against other teeth or emerge at an odd angle. This pressure can cause a dull, radiating pain that travels up to your temple and neck, along with gum inflammation. He advised taking an anti-inflammatory and getting an OPG X-ray to see the root position.
