How does the presence of cockroaches trigger asthma?

My son has asthma, and lately his attacks seem to be happening more frequently. We also noticed some cockroaches in the kitchen, despite our efforts to clean. I heard somewhere that cockroaches can trigger asthma; how does that actually happen?

Beta, the droppings and skin of these pests mix with the house dust and enter our lungs when we breathe, which triggers the breathlessness. Keep your kitchen absolutely dry and clean, and use camphor or neem oil to keep them away. Regular dusting is very important for children.

In our home, we use turmeric water to wipe down slabs because cockroaches carry allergens in their saliva and waste that trigger severe asthma attacks. While keeping the house clean naturally is helpful, always make sure to keep the inhaler prescribed by your doctor handy during seasons when pest activity is high.

People will tell you to use random home sprays, but cockroach allergen is a scientifically proven, severe asthma trigger that causes airway inflammation. You need proper pest control and medical advice, not some WhatsApp remedies. Get a skin prick test from an allergist to confirm if this is indeed your trigger.

Cockroach body parts, saliva, and droppings act like invisible dust particles in the air. When an asthma patient inhales them, it irritates their airways instantly. It's best to keep food in airtight containers and block all drains at night to prevent them from entering your home.

I used to panic every time I saw a cockroach, thinking my asthma would act up immediately, but it's usually the accumulated dust and old droppings that do it. Once we deep-cleaned the cabinets and kept the kitchen dry, my symptoms became so much better. Just keep your space clean and you will be fine!

My son had a severe asthma attack that landed him in the hospital, and the doctor told us it was triggered by cockroach allergens in the dust. Please do not take this lightly. If you or your child have breathing difficulties, see a pulmonologist immediately and get professional pest control done.
