How does semaglutide work for weight loss in non diabetics?

My cousin lost a lot of weight using semaglutide, but she's diabetic. I'm not diabetic myself, but I'm struggling with my weight. I'm curious if it works differently or has the same effect for people who don't have diabetes?

Even for non-diabetics, I heard it acts on the brain's hunger center to stop cravings completely. But I am constantly worried if it will mess up my blood sugar levels or cause hypoglycemia since my sugars are already normal. Has anyone else who is non-diabetic tried this for weight loss, and did you feel dizzy or shaky?

Man, it basically tells your brain 'bro you are full, stop eating' even when you haven't had a proper meal. I am so tired from staying up with my newborn that I usually stress-eat a pack of biscuits at 3 AM. Honestly, if a medicine can stop those late-night kitchen raids, it sounds like a dream, though my sleep-deprived brain would probably still find a way to overeat.

In non-diabetics, it slows down how fast your food digests so you don't feel hungry frequently. While these modern injections work, I always suggest trying natural lifestyle changes first, like drinking curry leaves water and cutting out white rice. If you are experiencing extreme obesity and want to try this, please do not buy it online; consult an endocrinologist first.

It works the exact same way for us non-diabetics by slowing down digestion and killing your appetite. My cousin took it for six months because his BMI was over 32 and he lost around 15 kilos. He did get some crazy acidity in the first few weeks, but it worked for him because his portion sizes became really small.

It is so hard when you struggle with emotional eating and nothing seems to work, so wanting to try this is completely valid. It works by targeting the GLP-1 receptors which helps quieten that constant food noise in your head. For people who have fought weight issues for years, having that mental break from food thoughts is a huge relief.

I just finished a 4-month supervised course of this because my weight was causing severe knee issues, despite normal sugar levels. It literally made me indifferent to sweets and fried foods that I used to binge on. My energy levels are back now and I have transitioned to a strict portion-controlled home diet to maintain the loss.

Yes, it works by mimicking natural satiety hormones so you eat less, even if you don't have diabetes. It is quite effective for chronic weight management.
