How do you get rid of piles in pregnancy?

Being pregnant, I've started facing issues with piles, and it's quite painful and inconvenient. My gynaecologist mentioned it's common, but I want to know what can be done to alleviate it. How can one get rid of piles safely during pregnancy?

When managing digestive issues during sensitive times, one must be careful with dietary changes. Adding natural fiber like green leafy vegetables and oats is great, but don't drink packaged high-fiber juices as they have too much hidden sugar. Stick to simple, home-cooked, low-oil meals and drink warm water.

I was looking this up for my cousin who is in her second trimester. Apparently, the pressure from the growing uterus on the pelvic veins is the main culprit here. It seems warm sitz baths and side-sleeping are highly recommended to relieve that pressure naturally.

My wife had this bad during her pregnancy, and it was rough to watch. Her doctor told her to strictly avoid straining on the toilet and prescribed a pregnancy-safe stool softener. Don't try random heavy herbal laxatives on your own, guys.

I know how uncomfortable pelvic pressure can be. Gentle pelvic tilts and light walks might help improve circulation down there, but since you are pregnant, please check with your gynecologist before trying any new physical remedy or cream.

Pregnancy is a very delicate phase, and using random herbal pastes or internet remedies can cause infections or adverse reactions. Do not take any laxatives without asking your OB-GYN first. Let a professional prescribe a safe topical gel and stool softener.

I totally agree with using a sitz bath; it is the safest and most relaxing way to manage the soreness during these months.

I feel your pain, pregnancy piles are the absolute worst. I tried everything from coconut oil applications to cold compresses, and what worked best was eating soaked figs (anjeer) daily and doing a warm water sitz bath for 10 minutes. It gives so much instant relief.
