How do i find out my due date pregnancy?

I just found out I'm expecting, and I'm so excited but also a bit overwhelmed! The doctor mentioned a due date, but I'm keen to understand how it's calculated. How do I find out my due date during pregnancy, so I can start planning everything?

I totally get it, the excitement and curiosity to know the date is so real! You can easily calculate it by adding 280 days to the first day of your last period, but remember that babies have their own timing.

I know exactly how overwhelming this phase is, and how much we overthink every single detail. Try not to worry too much about online due date calculators; your doctor will give you the most accurate date after your first ultrasound scan.

Just use a standard pregnancy calculator app by putting in your last menstrual period (LMP) date. It takes ten seconds and gives you a realistic target window for planning your work leaves and hospital booking.

Knowing the due date helps you plan your financial budget for delivery. Calculate the approximate month using your last period date, and start researching hospital packages and test costs in advance to avoid last-minute stress.

My grandmother used to calculate due dates using the lunar calendar, which was fascinating. But we must follow the modern medical way, so please consult your doctor who will calculate it precisely using your early scan reports.

Congratulations on the amazing news! 🎉 You can just use a simple online LMP calculator to find your estimated due date, but the actual date is decided by your doctor during your first checkup. Exciting times ahead!

My doctor explained that the due date is calculated by adding nine months and seven days to the first day of your last period. However, she also mentioned that only about 5% of babies are actually born on their exact due date, so keep a margin.
