How do dentists fix cavities in front teeth?

My younger sister has a small cavity in one of her front teeth, and she's really conscious about it. We are wondering how dentists usually go about fixing cavities, especially in such a visible area.

I think I have a small cavity on my upper front tooth and I'm so scared. Will the filling look very obvious when I smile or talk to people?

I actually got this fixed last month on my left incisor. The dentist cleaned the decay and used a composite resin that matched my exact tooth shade, then cured it with a UV light. It looks completely natural and seamless now.

Don't worry at all, brother. They use a special tooth-colored clay-like material that matches your teeth perfectly. After they clean and fill it, no one will even be able to tell you had a cavity there.

Years ago, front fillings used to discolor over time, but dental tech has improved so much now. They clean the decay gently and apply strong composite materials that blend beautifully. Just get it done soon to protect the tooth structure.

I have to get my front tooth filled next week and I'm super anxious about the pain and the final look. Did anyone else feel sensitive to cold water for a long time after getting a front filling done?

It's a very simple job. They drill out the decay, match the composite color with your other teeth, fill it, and polish it smooth. Took my dentist about 25 minutes and you can't even see where the cavity was.
