How do dead cancer cells leave the body?

My uncle recently finished his chemotherapy, and we were talking about how the treatment kills cancer cells. I got curious, once these cells are dead, how does the body get rid of them naturally? Do they just dissolve?

During my recovery years ago, I learned that our body has a very beautiful, natural way of cleaning up waste. The immune cells, especially white blood cells, engulf those dead cancer cells and flush them out through urine, stool, and sweat. Trust your body's healing power, it knows what to do.

When my father was undergoing therapy at a major hospital in Chennai, the oncologist explained this process to us. The dead cells are broken down and cleared out by our immune system, then excreted. You should ask your doctor clearly during the next visit to understand how it relates to your specific treatment.

My uncle went through chemo recently and we asked the doc this exact thing. Basically, the treatment kills the cells, and then your liver and kidneys filter them out as waste. Just drink lots of water to help the system flush it all out.

From what I've read while researching cellular waste, the lymphatic system and kidneys do the heavy lifting of filtering out dead cells. I don't want to sound too sure since I'm not a medical expert, but keeping yourself well-hydrated is always recommended. Definitely check with your medical team.

I always get so worried thinking about how our internal organs handle all these toxic dead cells after treatment. But apparently, immune cells called macrophages eat them up and clean the area naturally. It's a heavy process, so please keep talking to your doctor to monitor your kidney and liver health.

I totally get it, understanding how the body heals after such intense treatments can be really overwhelming. The body's immune system works like a natural cleanup crew to break down and flush those dead cells out safely. Sending you lots of strength, do discuss this with your specialist.
