How big does the uterus get during pregnancy?

I'm in my second trimester now, and my belly is growing so fast! It makes me wonder just how much the uterus actually expands to hold the baby. My mother says it's incredible, but I want to know the actual size range.

It is absolutely amazing how much it stretches, going from the size of a small pear to literally the size of a watermelon by the third trimester! I remember looking at my belly in the ninth month and wondering how my body managed all that. Don't worry, it slowly shrinks back to its normal size after delivery.

Our bodies are designed to handle this beautiful journey so naturally. It grows to almost 500 times its original size to keep the baby safe and warm. Just focus on your rest and let nature do its wonderful work.

It basically expands from a tiny lemon to a full-sized jackfruit by the end! My wife used to say her stomach was a temporary storage unit for a football. The human body is tough, but man, those nine months really take a toll on your back and sleep.

When my wife was pregnant, we read that the uterus grows from a tiny fruit to a huge watermelon. It was wild seeing her belly grow week by week. It is crazy how much space the human body can make inside.

I am still learning about all these pregnancy changes and it sounds quite overwhelming to be honest. Is it true that the uterus starts pushing your other internal organs out of the way? Does that make it very hard to breathe or eat towards the end?
