Does zilbrysq cause hair loss?

Zilbrysq was started recently for my condition. Since then, I've been noticing more hair coming out when I comb. I'm worried, could this medication be causing hair loss?

Zilbrysq is a specialized medication used for generalized myasthenia gravis, and hair loss is not typically reported as a common side effect in clinical trials. Given the complexity of the underlying condition, it is highly recommended to consult your treating neurologist to evaluate other potential causes for your hair thinning.

I take strong medications for my blood pressure and always worry about side effects. But I've learned that regular blood tests and checking in with your doctor is the only way to know what's causing issues like hair fall. Don't stop your main treatment without checking.

Look, Zilbrysq is a very serious medicine for nerve-muscle issues, not some random painkiller. If you are losing hair after starting it, don't guess or read random things online. Directly ask your specialist doctor who prescribed it to you.

My teenager was recently diagnosed with myasthenia gravis and we were researching all the side effects of medications like Zilbrysq. We were very anxious, but our doctor explained that hair loss is not a standard side effect. Please speak to your care team to ease your mind.

In my long life, I have seen that heavy medications can sometimes stress the body, leading to temporary hair shedding. While you must follow your specialist's advice for Zilbrysq, you can also try gently applying warm coconut oil with curry leaves to soothe your scalp. Do not ignore your primary doctor's instructions, though.
