Does zepbound make your hair fall out?

My hair has been feeling very weak and thin lately, and I'm about to start a new medicine for weight. I'm really worried this new treatment might make it worse. Does this medication make your hair fall out?

I literally sat on my bathroom floor and cried when I saw the clump of hair after my shower. It is so emotionally painful, but please know it is a temporary reaction to the rapid weight loss and it does stop.

I had the exact same issue when my weight started dropping quickly! I started taking biotin and focusing on high-protein foods, and it really helped control the shedding after a few weeks.

Hey, don't stress too much about this. Hair loss is super common when your body goes through a big change like fast weight loss, and it usually grows back once things settle down.

Well, you might lose some hair, but you'll look great in your new clothes! Seriously though, it's just the body reacting to eating less. Keep your doctor updated and don't worry.

When I consulted my physician at Manipal Hospital, he said this is telogen effluvium caused by rapid weight loss, not the drug directly. Please consult your doctor clearly to get a proper diagnosis.

My hair is thinning so much since I started my second dose and I am getting really scared now. Did anyone else experience this, and did your hair eventually grow back?

Between midnight feeding for my baby and worrying about my receding hairline on this med, I am barely sleeping. But honestly, it is mostly a temporary phase from eating like a bird, so hang in there.
