Does zenpep cause hair loss?

My doctor is recommending Zenpep for my pancreatic issues, and I'm doing my research before starting. I've read about a lot of side effects for different medications, and I'm particularly concerned about hair loss. Is hair loss something I should expect or worry about with Zenpep?

Zenpep is mainly for digestion and absorbing nutrients, so if you are losing hair, it might actually be due to poor nutrition absorption rather than the medicine itself. Focus on getting enough protein and healthy fats in your diet. Make sure to discuss your hair fall with your doctor to check for deficiencies.

I haven't heard of Zenpep directly causing hair loss, but severe gut issues can definitely mess with your hair health. My roommate had bad hair fall when his digestion was totally off. It is probably best to ask your doc what is causing it.

Hair loss is not a common side effect of Zenpep, but it can happen due to underlying nutritional issues. Please consult your doctor for proper advice.

Actually, my cousin took Zenpep for her pancreatic issues and she did notice some hair thinning initially, but her doctor said it was because of malnourishment before starting the treatment. Once her body started absorbing nutrients properly, her hair got better. Definitely talk to your doctor about this.

Hair loss can be triggered by so many underlying factors, from hormonal issues like PCOS to nutritional deficiencies. Since Zenpep helps with digesting food, any hair thinning might be linked to your primary digestive condition. I would suggest being cautious and discussing this with your specialist.
