Does your partner get pregnancy symptoms?

My wife is in her first trimester, and she's been having a tough time with nausea and fatigue. But lately, I've also been feeling really nauseous and tired myself. Is it possible for partners to actually experience pregnancy symptoms along with their wives, like a sympathetic pregnancy?

Honestly it is actually quite common and there is a proper term for it called Couvade syndrome or sympathetic pregnancy. Partners can experience morning sickness, mood swings, or even weight gain alongside the mother. Just make sure they keep a check on their vitals and talk to a doc if the symptoms are bothering them too much.

Haan na, mere husband ko bhi severe cravings and nausea hone laga tha first trimester mein. We used to laugh so much about it but actually he was feeling very exhausted too. It is completely real, and unko bhi thoda rest ki zaroorat hoti hai during this time.

Yes, my wife and I went through this too. I had mild nausea in the mornings just like her. It is just your body reacting to the major life change and the deep emotional connection you share.

I read so much about this online because my partner started getting bad headaches and nausea during my third month. I got so scared thinking it was some other medical issue and almost made him do a full body scan. Thankfully our gynaecologist reassured us that it is just sympathetic symptoms, but it still makes me super anxious sometimes.

My elder brother literally had morning sickness when his wife was expecting last year. We used to tease him so much in the family WhatsApp group. But actually it is a real thing, our family doc said it happens due to stress and empathy.

We tracked this on our health app and noticed my husband's sleep quality and resting heart rate changed exactly during my first trimester peak. It is so interesting how closely partners can sync up. If they are getting bad symptoms, tracking their sleep and hydration might help manage it better.

Bro when my wife was pregnant, I literally started getting crazy mood swings and wild midnight food cravings just like her. I thought I was losing my mind but my doctor told me it happens to many close partners. It went away on its own after a few months though so dont worry.

My partner had some mild bloating and lethargy when I was pregnant. We both started going for light 20-minute evening walks after checking with our doctor. It really helped in keeping our energy levels up and reduced the stress for both of us.
