Does your body temp drop when you sleep?

My smartwatch shows my body temperature fluctuating throughout the night. Is it true that our body temperature naturally drops when we enter deep sleep?

Yes, it does. Your body temperature naturally drops by a degree or two during sleep to conserve energy. Keeping your room cool and managing your stress is very important, especially if you have issues like blood pressure.

Yes, it is a normal part of the circadian rhythm. Keeping your bedroom slightly cool can actually help you fall asleep much faster.

Haan na, tabhi toh raat ko sote waqt hume thoda thand lagta hai and we need a bedsheet. This body temperature drop is very normal and natural for deep sleep. Humari body bas relax mode me chali jaati hai.

It is absolutely normal, biologically speaking. Your brain's thermostat resets to a lower temperature to reduce metabolic rate and help you recover. Don't worry, it's just your body's natural way of entering deep rest.

Yes, your body temperature dips to help you rest. For those of us with hormonal imbalances like PCOS, temperature fluctuations can sometimes feel a bit more noticeable, but a minor drop during sleep is completely healthy and standard.
