Does xarelto cause hair loss?

I'm on Xarelto for a blood clot condition. Lately, my hair seems to be thinning more than usual. I'm wondering if Xarelto could be causing hair loss?

I know how stressful it is to see your hair thinning, and I have tried everything from curry leaves to coconut oil massage to stop it. While blood thinners can sometimes cause temporary hair thinning, please do not stop taking your medication because of this. Keep eating a healthy diet and talk to your cardiologist.

It is completely valid to feel worried when you start noticing hair fall while on a new medicine, especially since hair is so closely tied to our confidence. It is a known but relatively rare side effect of blood thinners. Try to stay calm, and bring this up with your doctor so they can reassure you.

Beta, khoon patla karne wali dawaiyon se kabhi-kabhi baal thode kamzor ho jate hain. Par yeh dawa aapke dil aur sehat ke liye bohot zaroori hai. Apne se dawa band mat karna, daktar sahab se mil kar koi hair oil ya vitamin pooch lo.

Before you spend a lot of money on expensive hair clinics or fancy shampoos, get a basic blood test for iron and thyroid levels, as these are common causes of hair fall and are quite cheap to test. Talk to your prescribing doctor about these results to see if the medicine is the actual cause.

Don't worry too much! Hair thinning from these medications is usually temporary and often stops once your body gets adjusted to it. Just focus on a protein-rich diet and keep your doctor informed during your regular visits.

I once stopped a prescribed cardiovascular medicine on my own because I thought it was causing side effects, and I ended up in the emergency room. Hair loss is frustrating, but stopping a blood thinner without a doctor's permission is highly dangerous. Please consult your physician immediately before making any changes.
