Does whey protein help with weight gain?

I've always been on the thinner side and am trying to put on some healthy weight and muscle. My gym instructor suggested whey protein as a supplement. Does whey protein really help in gaining weight, especially muscle mass?

My son was very underweight and his doctor suggested adding whey protein to his milk along with bananas and nuts. It helped him gain healthy muscle mass in a few months.

Hey, don't stress too much about being thin. Just blend your whey protein with peanut butter and oats, it tastes amazing and is great for gaining healthy weight.

Haan, it works well if you drink it with high-calorie shakes na. Just plain whey in water won't help much with gaining weight.

Actually, yaar, whey won't magically make you fat. You still need to be in a calorie surplus; just think of whey as an easy tool to help you get there.

I had severe weight fluctuations due to my thyroid. Make sure your thyroid levels are stable first, and then use whey protein under your doctor's guidance.

For healthy weight gain, focus on building muscle rather than fat. Whey protein combined with basic strength training is excellent for this purpose.

I used to be so insecure about my petite frame. Adding a whey protein shake after my light workouts really helped me build some good muscle shape.

Yes, absolutely. If you are trying to gain, whey is a very convenient way to hit your daily protein targets without feeling overly stuffed.

Bro, whey shakes saved me during my hostel days. I used to mix it with milk and bananas to bulk up because the hostel mess food was so bad.

Listen, don't just buy expensive mass gainers which are full of sugar. Regular whey protein with normal home food is much safer and healthier.

Be very careful if you are diabetic and trying to gain weight. Check the label of the whey protein to ensure there is no added sugar or high carbs.
