Does weightlifting cause hair loss?

I've started intense weightlifting recently and I'm noticing more hair falling out than usual. Could there be a connection between heavy weightlifting and hair loss? I'm a bit worried, actually.

Weightlifting itself doesn't cause hair loss unless you are taking synthetic supplements or steroids that alter your DHT hormones. Consult a dermatologist for an accurate diagnosis.

I tried all kinds of onion juice and oils when my hair thinned. Actually, simple sweat buildup from workouts can cause scalp infections, so make sure to wash your hair regularly.

Not at all bro! Unless you are taking sketchy gym powders 😂 Regular lifting actually boosts blood circulation which is great for hair!

I have been lifting for 8 years and still have a full head of hair. Hair fall is mostly genetic or due to high stress, not because of holding dumbbells.
