Does weed cause hair loss in men?

My friends and I were discussing this the other day. I've noticed some hair thinning lately, and one of them said it could be because of occasional use. Is there any truth to this claim?

I used to think it was harmless, but over time my hair started thinning terribly and I had major scalp issues. When I finally went to a dermatologist, he explained how smoking can mess with blood circulation to the hair follicles. Please don't ignore it and get a proper checkup from a skin doc before trying any home hacks.

Bro honestly, I was stressing about this so much last semester because my hairline started receding. Some of my friends smoke daily and have thick hair, but for me, I noticed more shedding when my stress and smoking went up. I think it is more about the bad sleep and junk food cravings that come with it, but who knows.

Yeah, it definitely messes with your hormones and sleep, which directly affects your hair. Better to cut down and see if the shedding stops.

Arre buddy, if weed caused baldness directly, half of my college group would be walking around like billiard balls by now! Don't stress too much, it is probably just your genes or the heavy water in your building. Just take a deep breath and maybe wash your hair with filtered water for a week.

Honestly, the weed might not do it directly, but the insane munchies make us eat so much fried stuff and sweets at midnight! My diet went completely out of whack and that is when my hair quality dropped. If you are eating parathas and pizzas every time you smoke, your hair is bound to suffer, bro.

Before you blame anything, better to get a basic blood panel done to see if it is just a vitamin D3 or B12 deficiency. A full body checkup online costs around 1000 to 1200 rupees these days and is totally worth it. No point wasting money on expensive anti-hairfall shampoos if the issue is internal or lifestyle-related.
