Does wearing a baseball cap cause hair loss?

I wear a baseball cap for most of the day, especially when I'm driving or playing sports. My friends keep teasing me saying I'll go bald if I keep wearing it. Does wearing a baseball cap actually contribute to hair loss?

Don't stress too much, yaar! Wearing a baseball cap doesn't cause hair loss unless you are pulling your hair super tight under it every single day. Just wear it comfortably and let your hair get some fresh air once in a while. You really have nothing to worry about.

I can only speak from my own experience, but I have been wearing caps daily for the last ten years and my hair volume is still exactly the same. For me, keeping the cap a bit loose and washing it once a week has kept my scalp healthy and free from any irritation.

I always wear a baseball cap during my daily 5km outdoor runs to protect my face from the sun. The only thing is to make sure your scalp doesn't stay sweaty for too long after your workout, as that can cause dandruff. Just wash your hair and cap regularly, and you are good to go.

If caps caused hair fall, then cricket players would be completely bald by the time they retired! It is just a story we get told so we don't wear caps inside the house. Keep wearing your favorite cap, just don't use it to cover up a scalp that hasn't been washed in a week!

It is a total myth that caps cause baldness, bro. Real hair loss is usually down to genetics, stress, or a lack of proper protein in your diet. Focus on eating clean, hitting your daily protein target, and lifting weights, and don't worry about wearing a cap to the gym.

I used to worry that my caps were causing hair loss, but my doctor told me it was actually my high blood pressure and high stress levels affecting my health. I started taking my BP medicines on time, going for daily walks, and my hair fall automatically reduced. Better to focus on your overall lifestyle.
