Does water flush your liver?

A relative told me that drinking lots of water helps to 'flush' your liver and keep it healthy. Is this a medical fact? I want to make sure I'm doing the right things for my health.

Water is super important for our body but it doesn't really 'flush' the liver like a drain pipe! It just keeps you hydrated so your organs can do their job properly. Drink up for good skin though!

I have to be very careful with my diet due to diabetes, and my doctor told me that no amount of water can flush away liver fat or damage. Proper medical supervision, low glycemic food, and regular medication are key.

I used to drink tons of warm water thinking it would cure my fatty liver, but I ignored the dull pain for months. When I finally went to the doctor, it had worsened. Please get a proper ultrasound done if you feel any discomfort.

I just recovered from a liver infection last month. My doctor explicitly told me that drinking excess water won't flush out liver toxins. You need prescribed medicines, proper rest, and a zero-oil diet to let the liver heal.

Drinking adequate water in the morning helps maintain the body's natural balance. But the liver needs a clean lifestyle, deep breathing exercises like Kapalbhati, and a light diet to function at its best naturally.
