Does walking after eating help with weight loss?

Actually, I've put on some weight recently and my doctor advised me to be more active. My mother-in-law keeps saying a small walk after dinner is very good for digestion and losing weight. Is this true, ya? Vigorous exercise right after eating is something I find hard to do.

Yes, it really does! Walking for just 10-15 minutes after dinner keeps your digestion happy and burns extra calories too. Give it a try tonight! 🚶‍♀️✨

I literally started doing this two months ago because my weight was stuck. Honestly, a simple 15-minute stroll after meals completely fixed my bloating and helped me drop two kilos. It works wonders.

Bro, it actually helps a lot, especially during exams when you just sit and eat. I just walk around my hostel corridor for 10 mins after dinner. Keeps the food coma away too.

Please be careful and walk very slowly. I once started brisk walking right after a heavy lunch and ended up with severe indigestion and acid reflux that needed doctor's attention. If you have any stomach issues, consult a professional first.

I can't tell you the medical science behind it, but personally, a light walk after dinner has helped me maintain my weight. I just stroll around my building compound without putting too much effort. It feels very relaxing.
