Does vitamin'd help psoriasis?

I've had psoriasis for years, and it's always a struggle to manage. I recently read an article online that talked about Vitamin D's role in skin health. Is it true that it could help with psoriasis symptoms?

Managing PCOS has taught me that hormonal and skin issues are deeply connected. While I don't have psoriasis, many in my support group say that correcting Vitamin D deficiency helped calm their skin inflammation. It might not be a magic cure, but it is a very helpful support system.

I track all my health metrics and read a lot about autoimmune conditions. Vitamin D helps regulate skin cell growth, which is exactly what goes out of control in psoriasis. Keeping my D levels in the optimal range has definitely helped reduce the frequency of my skin flare-ups.

My cousin had very bad scaling and red skin on his hands. The town doctor told him to sit in the soft morning sun for ten minutes and gave him some Vitamin D tablets. Slowly, his skin cleared up beautifully. Do consult a good doctor, they will guide you well.

Honestly, between my late-night work shifts and absolute lack of sunlight, my skin was acting up big time. My doctor said low Vitamin D makes skin issues like psoriasis worse because the immune system goes crazy. Now I take my weekly pill and pray my skin behaves.

At this age, my body has started a new complaint every month, and skin itching was the latest one. The skin specialist said Vitamin D is like a brake pad for overactive skin cells. Correcting it helped quieten down the red patches. At least one part of my body is peaceful now!
