Does vitamin'd cause hair loss?

After starting Vitamin D supplements a few months back for low levels, I've noticed more hair fall than usual. Could there be a connection, or is it just a coincidence?

In my experience, vitamin deficiencies can definitely affect your body, including hair. But with my high blood pressure, I learned that overall lifestyle stress is a bigger factor. Get your blood checked regularly to know the exact cause.

Actually yaar, I had crazy hair fall last year and was so stressed. My doctor checked and my Vitamin D was almost zero, so the deficiency was the culprit. Don't worry, once you start supplements, it gets better.

Let's get this straight. Vitamin D deficiency is what causes hair loss because it stimulates hair follicles. Taking the normal prescribed dose won't cause hair fall, but don't overdose without checking your levels first.

I know how heartbreaking it is to see your hair thinning every day, it completely ruins your self-esteem. I was terrified and stressed about my Vitamin D levels too. Please know that a deficiency actually causes hair loss, not the vitamin itself.

Between my sleepless nights and worrying, my hair was already leaving my head. Turned out my Vitamin D was low too! Now I just take my morning sunbath and hope my remaining hair decides to stay.
