Does vit'd deficiency cause hair loss?

Lately, I've been losing a lot of hair, and it's quite concerning. Someone mentioned that Vitamin D deficiency could be a reason. Does low Vitamin D actually cause hair loss? I want to know if I should get my levels checked.

Yes, nutritional deficiencies like Vit D can definitely cause hair fall and even affect your overall energy. Just like managing my BP, getting a simple blood test and correcting it with a doctor's help is the best approach.

I noticed massive hair thinning a few months ago and my blood test showed a severe Vitamin D deficiency. After starting the supplements prescribed by my GP, my hair fall reduced significantly within two months.

It actually does, yaar! I was losing hair like crazy last year and when I got tested, my Vit D was super low. Once I took the weekly supplements my doctor prescribed, the hair fall stopped completely.

It definitely does! Besides supplements, I started eating more egg yolks, mushrooms, and dairy to help boost my levels. It's a great excuse to enjoy some delicious, healthy food while saving your hair.

Yes, it is a very common cause. Try going for an early morning walk to get some natural sunlight, along with whatever treatment your doctor suggests. Physical activity and sun exposure do wonders.

I know how terrifying it is to see chunks of hair in the drain, it used to give me so much anxiety every day. Vitamin D is crucial for hair follicles, so getting it checked will definitely give you peace of mind.

You can apply warm coconut oil to soothe your scalp, but natural tips alone won't cure a deficiency. Please get your blood tested and consult a doctor for proper Vitamin D supplements.
