Does veozah cause weight gain?

My doctor just prescribed Veozah for my severe hot flashes, which I'm hoping will bring some relief. However, I'm already struggling with weight management post-menopause. Does anyone know if Veozah tends to cause weight gain?

According to clinical trials, weight gain is not listed as a common side effect of Veozah. My gynecologist also explained that since it is non-hormonal, it doesn't cause the metabolic changes or fluid retention that traditional hormone therapy might.

No, Veozah generally does not cause weight gain. Any weight changes during this phase are usually due to menopause itself.

Even though Veozah doesn't directly cause weight gain, our metabolism naturally slows down during menopause. I find that keeping a strict watch on high-calorie foods and eating more fiber helps maintain weight during this transition.

You don't need to worry much about weight gain with this medicine. Just focus on feeling better from the hot flashes and eat well.

Honestly, at this stage of life, even looking at a paratha adds weight! But thankfully, Veozah hasn't made my weight situation any worse. It has been quite gentle on that front.
