Does urinating after sex help prevent pregnancy?

I've heard some people say that if you pee right after sex, it can help prevent pregnancy. I'm not sure if this is correct information. Can someone clarify if this really works as a way to avoid getting pregnant?

I completely understand how stressful this can be when you are worrying about an unplanned pregnancy. But scientifically, peeing does not prevent pregnancy because the urine and vaginal pathways are entirely different. Take a deep breath.

No, it has zero effect on pregnancy. However, it is an excellent habit for bladder health and preventing UTIs, which is important to keep your active fitness lifestyle on track.

Haha, absolutely not! Sperm and urine use two completely different roads. Peeing is great for keeping infections away, but for preventing pregnancy, you need a condom, not the restroom!

It is a common misunderstanding, but no, it won't help prevent pregnancy. I always suggest washing up for hygiene, but for safety against pregnancy, rely only on standard medical contraceptives.

Please don't rely on this. I made the mistake of trusting online myths once and faced a lot of stress later. If you had unprotected sex, please consult a doctor or gynecologist for proper advice.

No, it does not. Just like managing BP requires clinically proven lifestyle habits and medication, family planning also requires scientifically proven methods like condoms or pills. Don't rely on myths.
