Does tri sprintec cause weight gain?

I recently switched to Tri-Sprintec for my contraception. My friend gained a lot of weight when she started a different birth control pill, so I'm a bit worried. Does this particular pill usually cause weight gain?

Hormonal changes from Tri-Sprintec can sometimes cause mild water retention, which feels like weight gain. In most cases, this temporary bloating subsides after the first few cycles. Try to stay hydrated and give your body some time to adjust to the medication.

I was on it for six months, yaar. Actually, I felt super bloated in the starting two weeks and thought I was gaining fat, but it was just water weight. It went back to normal after a while, so don't stress too much about it.

Beta, these English medicines can sometimes disturb the body's natural balance. Drink plenty of warm water with a little fennel seeds boiled in it to reduce the bloating and gas. Take light home-cooked meals and keep yourself active daily.

Clinical studies show that pill-induced weight gain is usually minimal and mostly related to fluid retention rather than actual fat accumulation. However, because everyone's hormonal profile is unique, consulting your prescribing doctor is the best way to address any persistent symptoms.

I started Tri-Sprintec last month and my jeans are already feeling quite tight around the waist. Has anyone else experienced sudden bloating or weight changes so quickly on this? I am getting really worried that I will keep gaining weight.

It might make you hold onto water like a sponge for a few weeks, but you are not going to wake up double your size, promise! Just keep moving and don't blame the poor pill if you end up eating extra desserts because of it.

Honestly, I had zero weight gain on this pill. It is mostly a myth or just mild bloating that people confuse with real fat gain. Just maintain a clean diet and hit the gym regularly, you will be absolutely fine.

Yes, I also felt very bloated on Tri-Sprintec. Reducing my salt intake slightly and drinking more water really helped clear the puffiness.

Look, any hormone pill can throw off your weight slightly in the beginning, but it is not magic fat. Keep an eye on your daily diet and make sure you aren't overeating due to hormonal cravings. If the weight keeps climbing, just ask your doc to change the brand.

Haan na, starting weeks me thoda puffiness lagta hi hai. Actually, it is just water retention and nothing serious. Don't worry, once your body gets used to the hormones, everything will settle down comfortably.

Having PCOS makes us very sensitive to hormonal shifts, and some pills can definitely affect our weight management. I was careful with my diet when starting Tri-Sprintec. It is always safer to discuss your specific metabolic history with your gynecologist before worrying.

Hey, I totally feel you! When I started Tri-Sprintec, I felt a bit heavier in the first month, but it was just water. It went away entirely by the third month, so just give your body a little time to settle down.
