Does tresemme shampoo cause hair loss?

I've been using Tresemme shampoo for a few years now, and my hair used to be quite thick. But in the last few months, it feels like I'm losing more hair every time I wash it. Could my Tresemme shampoo be causing this hair loss?

Yes, it definitely does for a lot of people because of the high sulfate content. I had severe hair thinning within three weeks of using it. Do yourself a favor, throw it out and get a clean, sulfate-free shampoo instead.

Before you spend thousands on expensive anti-hairfall shampoos or clinic consultations, just stop using this brand and try a basic 150-rupee baby shampoo. If the hair fall still doesn't stop after a month, then plan a basic blood test budget of around 800 rupees to check for deficiencies.

It is incredibly stressful when you start seeing your scalp through your hair, and I know how much anxiety this causes. Don't let yourself spiral over this. Just stop using the shampoo today, and give your hair some quiet time to recover.

I also thought my shampoo was the main culprit for my hair loss, but my doctor diagnosed me with hypothyroidism. It is always wise to get your thyroid and vitamin levels checked regularly rather than just blaming external products.

Honestly, between my night shifts and screaming baby, I barely have time to look in the mirror, but even I noticed my hair thinning out with this shampoo. I don't know if it's the shampoo or just my lack of sleep, but switching it definitely helped reduce the hair fall a bit!

Haan na, even my sister had the same issue with this shampoo. Actually, it is very dry and makes hair break from the middle itself. Better to avoid it and use some simple homemade hibiscus pack instead.

I think eating a good protein-rich diet with eggs and paneer is way more important for hair health than stressing over these commercial shampoos. I stopped using this brand because it felt too chemically, but a good diet keeps the hair strong anyway.
