Does too much estrogen cause weight gain?

Recently, I've been struggling with weight gain, and it feels like it's harder to lose weight now. Someone suggested it could be related to hormone imbalance, specifically too much estrogen. Can high estrogen levels actually cause weight gain?

Yes, high estrogen levels or estrogen dominance can lead to weight gain, especially around the hips and waist, and can impact insulin sensitivity. It is vital to manage your diet, focus on high-fiber foods, and get your hormone levels checked by an endocrinologist.

Yes, hormonal imbalance like high estrogen definitely causes water retention and stubborn fat gain. Don't waste time trying crash diets; they won't work for hormonal issues. Book an appointment with a gynecologist or endocrinologist for a proper treatment plan.

My sister was struggling with this due to PCOS. High estrogen was making her hold on to water weight and fat really easily. Once she got her hormones balanced with a doctor's help, her weight stabilized. Get a blood test done, bro.

I didn't know estrogen could affect weight so much. I have been gaining weight suddenly even though I eat normally. Can we get a simple blood test done to check this, or does the doctor have to prescribe a special hormone test?

Haan beti, sharir mein hormone upar neeche hone se vajan bohot tezi se badhta hai aur sujan bhi aati hai. Tension mat lo, ek baar acche doctor ko dikha lo aur thoda rojana tehalne ki aadat dalo, sab theek ho jayega.

Yes it absolutely can, sweetie! Estrogen dominance makes your body hold onto fat, but please don't stress too much. Just talk to a gynecologist, they will easily help you balance it out with simple lifestyle changes or mild meds.
