Does the pregnancy line go away?

My baby was delivered recently, and I still have this dark line on my stomach, the linea nigra. My mum says it will fade, but it's been a few weeks already. Will this pregnancy line eventually disappear completely, or is it permanent?

Yes, the linea nigra usually fades on its own after delivery. You can gently apply a little warm coconut oil or fresh aloe vera gel on your belly to keep the skin hydrated. But if you have severe itching or skin changes, do check with your doctor.

Hey, don't stress too much about it! It's just due to pregnancy hormones and is totally normal. For most of my friends, it faded away naturally within a few months after baby arrived. Enjoy this beautiful phase!

Yes, it absolutely goes away on its own. Give your body some time to balance its hormones after delivery.

In my case, the dark line appeared around my second trimester and stayed for about six months after my daughter was born. I didn't use any creams or treatments; it just got lighter on its own and vanished eventually.

As a nurse, I see this daily. It is called linea nigra and is caused by temporary pregnancy hormones stimulating melanin production. It usually fades post-delivery within 6 to 12 months, so there is no medical need to worry or treat it.

Haan beti, ghabrao nahi. Yeh to har maa ke pet par banti hai aur baccha hone ke kuch mahino baad apne aap dheeme dheeme gayab ho jati hai. Yeh to mamta ki nishani hai, iski chinta mat karo.

It is completely normal and happens to almost every pregnant woman due to melanin. Don't waste your money buying expensive chemical creams to remove it. It will fade naturally after your delivery, just have some patience.
