Does the pink salt trick work for weight loss?

Progress has been slow for me even after trying to lose weight for a few months. Someone suggested this pink salt trick for metabolism boost and fat loss. Is there any real benefit to trying this, or should I stick to diet and exercise?

I am also trying to understand how to lose weight safely and came across this. But does drinking salt water on an empty stomach cause acidity? I have a very sensitive stomach so I am a bit scared to try it.

Haan na, even my neighbor was saying she lost 2 kgs using this. But honestly, it's just water weight that comes back very quickly. Better to avoid these fancy tricks and eat simple chapati-bhaji, ho na?

Hamare yahan toh log normal namak hi khate hain aur swasth rehte hain. Weight loss ke liye subah thoda ghumna aur ghar ka sadha khana hi sabse badhiya hai, babu. Yeh sab mehenge nuskhe ke chakkar mein mat pado.

I have seen so many weight loss trends come and go in this group. At the end of the day, only consistency with your meals and staying active works. Pink salt is nice for taste, but don't rely on it for burning calories.

No bro, it doesn't do anything for fat loss. I tried it for a month because of some fitness reel. It just made me feel thirsty all day. Just eat in a calorie deficit and do some basic cardio.

I get so worried when people try these rapid weight loss tricks. What if it causes electrolyte imbalance or dehydration? Please make sure you are drinking enough normal water too, and don't push your body too hard.

I asked my physician about this during my last checkup. He explained that pink Himalayan salt is chemical-wise 98% sodium chloride, just like normal salt. He clearly said there is no scientific mechanism by which it can burn fat.
