Does the pink salt recipe really work for weight loss?

My friend recently started trying this pink salt recipe she saw online, saying it helps with weight loss. I've been struggling to shed some kilos after my second baby. Just wondering if there's any truth to it or if it's just another fad.

Weight loss is a journey of both body and mind, my friend. Please don't put too much pressure on yourself with these quick recipes. Stay positive, keep your eating simple, and take good care of your health first.

Honestly, as someone managing diabetes, I am always very careful with these viral trends. Salt is just sodium at the end of the day and excess sodium can affect your blood pressure. For actual weight loss and sugar control, focusing on fiber and portion size works much better.

I get so anxious trying new health hacks because what if it upsets my stomach or affects my kidneys? Please be very careful with how much salt you consume daily. I hope you find a safe and gentle way to reach your goals, take care!

I also panicked when my weight stuck for two months and thought these special salt drinks were the only way out. But my doctor reassured me that weight plateaus are completely normal. Just stick to your normal home food and daily walks, the weight will move eventually.

Actually I was also reading up on this pink salt trick yesterday on YouTube. From what I found, it is mostly just normal water weight loss and nothing permanent. Let me know if you find any real scientific study on this though!

I tried a similar salt remedy last year and ended up with severe dehydration and blood pressure spikes. It was a scary complication that took weeks to recover from. Please consult a proper general physician before drinking any such salt mixtures.

I used to try all these internet drink recipes instead of addressing my real health issues, and I really regretted it later when things got worse. Please don't rely on these shortcuts. Go to a proper doctor and get a basic blood panel done to see why your weight is fluctuating.

If drinking pink salt water worked for weight loss, I would be a supermodel by now with the amount of weird water recipes I try at 3 AM. Honestly, getting 8 hours of sleep probably burns more fat than this salty drink.
