Does temazepam cause hair loss?

Hi, I've been taking temazepam for my sleep issues for a few months now, and lately I've noticed my hair thinning quite a bit. My parlourwali said it might be stress, but I'm worried it could be related to the medication. Has anyone else experienced this problem with this medicine?

Oh dear, I would be so worried too if I saw my hair falling out after starting a sleeping pill! Temazepam is strong and sometimes stress itself causes hair fall. Please discuss this with your doctor before worrying too much.

I know how awful it feels to deal with hair loss when you are already struggling with sleep and anxiety. When I used Temazepam, I didn't face hair loss, but the anxiety of it made me look for answers. Do talk to your doc to put your mind at ease.

While alopecia is not a commonly listed side effect of Temazepam, individual reactions to medications can vary. It is highly advisable to discuss this concern with your prescribing doctor rather than stopping the medication abruptly.

Instead of paying for premium hair oils, get a basic blood test done for iron and thyroid which costs very little. Often the culprit is nutritional deficiencies rather than your sleeping tablet Temazepam.

If sleeping pills caused baldness, half of us night-owls would be walking around with shiny heads! Don't worry, Temazepam is mostly known for giving good sleep, not taking away your hair.

Yes, I agree. In my experience with Temazepam, hair loss was never an issue, but check your vitamin levels.
