Does taking ashwagandha cause weight loss?

I started taking ashwagandha a couple of months ago to help with my stress levels. I've noticed a bit of weight loss recently, which was a surprise. Does taking ashwagandha commonly cause weight loss?

Let's be clear, Ashwagandha is for stress relief and sleep quality, not a weight loss pill. If you want to lose weight, you still need to hit the gym and manage your calories.

My doctor explained that Ashwagandha doesn't directly burn fat. Instead, it reduces cortisol, which is the stress hormone responsible for belly fat accumulation, thereby indirectly helping in weight management.

It helps so much with getting a peaceful night's sleep! 🌟 And less stress means fewer midnight cravings, which is amazing for weight loss.

Actually yaar, it is more about calming your mind. For weight loss, you still have to put in the hard work, Ashwagandha just stops you from stress-eating.

I started taking Ashwagandha recently to manage my work stress. While my stress got much better, I didn't see any automatic weight loss until I actually started controlling my diet.
