Does sparkling water cause cavities?

I've started drinking sparkling water instead of soda to be healthier. My dentist recently mentioned cavities, and now I'm wondering if sparkling water could be a cause. Does it damage teeth like sugary drinks can?

Haha, relaxation mode on! Plain sparkling water is totally fine for your teeth, it's not like you are bathing them in cola. Just don't replace normal water with it completely and you'll be smiling bright at your next dental checkup.

I actually started drinking this last week instead of soda to stay healthy. I hope it doesn't hurt my enamel because my teeth are already a bit sensitive. Does anyone know if the flavoured ones from the supermarket are also safe?

Haan, clear sparkling water is much better than those sugary soft drinks, na. Par zyada citrus flavour waale me thoda acid hota hai toh be careful. Normal paani peena mat chhodna bas.

Everything in balance keeps our body and mind at peace. Plain carbonated water won't harm your beautiful smile if you drink it mindfully. Stay positive, keep yourself hydrated with pure water, and take care of your health daily.

I used to drink sparkling water daily thinking it's harmless, but my dentist found mild enamel erosion because of the mild acidity. If you already have weak teeth or cavities, please consult your doctor first before making it a habit.

It’s actually the added sugar in normal sodas that wrecks your teeth, yaar. Plain sparkling water is just bubbly water, so nothing to stress about. Just check the label for zero sugar and you are good to go.

Let's be realistic, nobody has time for frequent dental treatments. Plain carbonated water has very low acidity and won't cause cavities if consumed in moderation. Keep a simple rule: rinse your mouth with normal water right after drinking it.

Good news! Plain sparkling water is super safe and won't cause cavities like sweet sodas do. Just enjoy your fizzy drink without any guilt, it's a great refresher! Cheers to happy hydration.
