Does skala cause hair loss?

Using Skala hair products for a couple of months now, but I've started noticing more hair fall. Can Skala products actually cause hair loss, or is it just a coincidence with other factors?

I totally get it, seeing your hair fall out after trying a new product is so stressful. Skala works beautifully for some but can be too heavy for others, leading to clogged follicles. Try taking a break from it for a couple of weeks to let your scalp recover.

I used Skala products for my curly hair because of all the social media hype, and honestly, my hair fall increased. I realized these heavy conditioners can cause scalp build-up if you don't clarify your hair regularly. Switch to a clarifying shampoo once a week and see if the hair fall stops.

I actually had severe hair shedding last month after using a popular Skala hair cream. I immediately stopped using it and went back to my basic, dermatologist-recommended shampoo. My scalp feels much cleaner now and the hair fall has finally stopped, thank god.

I tried the Skala Shea Butter pot because of curly girl method reviews, but it made my scalp extremely itchy and my hair started shedding. I had to stop using it completely. My hair just prefers lighter, water-based formulations instead.

If you don't have time for elaborate hair care, just stick to basic, dermatologist-tested products. Some imported brands like Skala might not suit everyone's hair texture, especially in Indian humidity. If a product causes hair fall, stop using it immediately and keep it simple.

While Skala isn't medically proven to cause hair loss, any product that causes product build-up can weaken hair roots. I track my routine closely and realized that focusing on scalp health and nutrition is key. Try using lighter products and monitor your hair health over a month.
